Thank you

I don't think I posted this project but I could be wrong. I made a little card set with the Summer Day Emma image and Postcard Circle words from Whimsy Stamps. I just love coloring this little image. it makes me think of my girls. Be sure to visit Whimsy to see what other stamps they have to over.

I hope you had a great holiday. We had a nice dinner with just the four of us. It was a relaxing 4 day weekend. Now that its nearly over its time to get back on track and start posting some of the projects I've made recently. Here's another card I made using Summer Day Emma from Whimsy Stamps. Its such a fun image. My guest spot for Whimsy is coming to an end. It sure went by fast. I still have a handful of projects to share with you and will be sure to post them here and there over the next few weeks.

Just a litte notebook - Whimsy Stamps

Do you remember when Stampin Ups spiral punch was new in the catalog? Like most punches I just had to have it. I bought a couple of hard cover journal books at Hobby Lobby and decided to alter them for my girls. Here's Alyssa's (I still need to die cut her name on the front). I measured the journal and cut two sheets of paper (Bermuda Bay cardstock and a pre-made 8 X 8 scrapbook page) slightly larger in height. That way I could line up the spiral part and trim to make it fit. I used my spiral punch and punched along the side so I could slip it in the front of the journal. I decorated the first layer with my new Whimsy Stamp -Summer Day Emma and a Big Shot flower. Of course adding ribbon is a plus. The great thing is that it can be easily removed from this book to another.

Be sure to scroll down to see yesterday's post and a chance to win a 49 image printable stamp set from The Cutting Cafe.

Sniff, Sniff

The month of November will be a fun one. Of course there's what I like to call the Food Holiday which means extra time home with the family and the abundance of food. It also means that I am the Guest Designer for Whimsy Stamps. Their collection is growing and they have some great new releases. Here's a couple of them. The main image is Whimsy's Dog and Sign stamp and those cute little circle stamps are the Circle Postcard Sentiments. I've been using a lot of digital images (which I love) but it did feel good to get out the ink and get to stamping. More Whimsy in store later this month. Thanks Vicki for letting me know about the Saturday Spotlight Challenge, this does qualify.
