Sweet Spring

I am so ready for spring and of course it is raining/snowing here in Iowa. For some reason I have been gravitating towards the In colors of the past. My all time favorite is Marigold Morning. This time I used Groove Guava. The main image is Sarah Kay and the Small Paisley Butterfly from The Rubber Cafe.

J is for Joyful - Cutting Cafe DT call

Here's a quick card using my paper scraps. I colored the image while back and just recently found it again. I love when that happens. I thought it needed a little embellishment so I printed out the J is for Joyful sentiment from the A to Z is for printable stamp set from The Cutting Cafe. Speaking of the Cutting Cafe, Regina is looking to add 3 more designers to the team. You can find all the details here. Hurry the call ends at midnight on April 4th. Regina has great printable stamps and templates and is a joy to work with. Encouraging and sweet.

Spring Chick

Have you ever had a tough time finishing a card? That's what happened here. No matter what I tried I couldn't find the right embellishment. I used flowers a post or two ago so I wanted something different. Buttons didn't look so hot. So I did what I could to salvage it? I just cut off the bottom portion of the card so I didn't have to fill in the void. So I guess you know my little secret. When my cards begin to get smaller its an attempt to prevent them from going in the trash. On a positive note I just love that Sarah Kay image. Don't you?
