Monday Showcase

Time for another Monday Showcase at the TownScrapper. Here's a quick and easy project that was colored and put together in less than 10 minutes. I used a C.C. Designs image called Rosalie.

For all your papercrafting needs contact Phebe by email at info@townscrapper.com or by phone at 519-882-0623. She has a great variety of things available and does carry several C.C. Designs stamps. Be sure to check out the other Showcase projects today at the TownScrapper.

Monday Showcase

It's Monday and that means different things to everyone. For me it means its back to work for another week. It also means that its my turn to share a project designed with the TownScrapper in mind. I chose a C.C. Designs image called Lady Bug Nora.

This stamp, along with many other stamps and crafting supplies are available at the TownScrapper. If you need a stamp fix, please let Phebe know! She would love to hear from you - just email her at info@townscrapper.com or call her at 519-882-0623. Be sure to check out the TownScrapper blog to see what the other DT members are showcasing today.

I also thought I'd mention that the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge this week is anything goes. Now that is a challenge I can definitely partake in.

Fun in the sun

This week's Digital Tuesday Challenge is to make an Easel Card. I thought I'd change it up a bit this time around so I used the sun shaped card and sentiment set from The Cutting Cafe. I also used the "fun in the sun" summer circle word and if that wasn't enough I topped it off with one of my favorite C.C. Designs images. The great thing about easel cards are that they may look complex but are really simple to do. This week's Digital Tuesday Sponsor is Robyn's Fetish and I can't begin to tell you how many digi's are available. OK I can....846! Wow! I sure hope you can play along this week. I also created this card for this week's Sentimental Sundays Challenge. The challenge is summertime (plus a sentiment). You can't get any closer to Summertime than the sun, can you?

It's a Showcase!

Click HERE for the Some ODD Girl Blog Hop!

It's my turn for a Townscrapper Showcase. I thought I'd show you one of the rubber stamps that Phebe carries in her shop. You can contact Phebe by email at info@townscrapper.com or by phone at 519-882-0623. The image I used is a C.C. Designs Swiss Pixie. Its called Nurse Nora. I've been seeing a lot of First Aid kits at the local stores so I thought I'd make one of my own using a box I've had what seems like forever. I think it was in the $1 section way back when. I wish I would have bought more of them. Anyway, head on over to the Townscrapper Blog to see what some of the other DT members came up with. The ones I have seen so far are awesome, you don't want to miss them.

Smell my feet

I had lots of fun with this cute image from C.C. Designs. You can probably tell when I get some cute new digi's. Seriously just pick a digi company and I'm sure I can list a ton of images that are on my wish list. Oh if only they were for free *LOL* This time I used two printable sets from The Cutting Cafe. I know you've seen the Halloween Labels one many times before. I printed out a sheet of images sometime ago and thought I'd use them up. That and I just love the sentiment. The other image is from the set called Halloween Card Borders. Lots of possibilities with that one.

Just for You

I have to admit that I am having a blast making Halloween cards. I could easily make them all year round. Of course the C.C. Designs image wasn't really intended for Halloween, at least I don't think it was, but it was easily transformed into one. With black and gray hair she reminds me of Wednesday from the Muensters, only in a sweet kind of way. See that cute little circle sentiment? Its from a set called Halloween Labels from The Cutting Cafe. It would make great halloween treats for the kiddos. Looking at it I wish I would have added a pair of googlie eyes on it or maybe one big eye in the middle. Everything is better with googlie eyes, right? I do have a handful of Halloween projects to show you. If you aren't into Halloween (not sure how that is possible) hang in there I do have some non halloween cards coming up.

Boo Did I scare you?

Since Halloween is 'My' holiday I have been busting out cards like crazy. Here's my favorite one so far. I used one of my C.C. Designs digital images called Heidi - Swiss Pixies. I think she's adorable. I actually made two cards with her but you'll have to wait awhile to see the other one. The Boo Did I scare you sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe and is included in the Halloween Labels printable set. You'll see more of that set later on as well. I can't lay all my cards out at once *LOL*

Copic Creation Challenge

One of my stamping goals is to complete more challenges. There are lots of challenge sites out there and I have been slowly adding them to my sidebar for motivation. I thought I'd start out with the Copic Creations challenge so I can practice my coloring at the same time. They have great DT projects as well as coloring tutorials so its a win win situation. I used my new C.C. Designs (Beachies) digital set as my main image. The theme of the challenge was to color hair blonde. Since I have a small Copic collection I improvised with the two markers that I have on hand -Y15 and Y21. Far from perfect but I'll get there eventually.

Oh so sweet

Have you checked out The Cutting Cafe lately? There are a lot of cute new sets available. Great sets for graduation, coaches, teachers, moms, backgrounds, the list goes on. See that cute little cupcake and that sweet sentiment? Those are from the not yet released printable stamp set called Sweet Stuff stamps. Lots of other cute images and sentiments are included but you'll have to wait and see those. All I'll say is that they are yummy. Before I forget I paired up my Cutting Cafe images with one of my new C.C. Designs digital stamps from the set called Beachies. Isn't she adorable sitting on that cupcake? Sorry about the gloomy photo, lots and lots of rain in Iowa. If I waited for it to stop I'd never post anything.

Valentine's Day Bag

Today's project is a Valentines Day treat bag using the template from The Cutting Cafe. Making this was way too easy. The first thing I did was mark a blank sheet of paper with the words top and right on it and printed out the template so I could see the orientation of the bag. That way I knew which way to cut my DP so that my words would be in the right direction. Then all I had to do was cut my paper to 8.5 X 11 and place it in the printer so that the cut and score lines would be on the inside of the bag. I cut along the darker lines and scored along the lighter lines. Then I taped and folded, embellished and the bag was done in no time. If you like this one you should see what the other design team members made with this set. Simply amazing. Click here to take a look.

Love and Kisses

I hope no one is getting tired of my Valentines Day cards yet because I am having so much fun making them. This time I thought I'd try something a little different and chose more of a monotone color palette. I also wanted to make it old-fashioned yet hip if there is sort of a thing. The image is from C.C. Designs and those cute little hearts are from The Cutting Cafe.
