One Cool Dude

Hello! Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I hope to get everything in working order and hope to be back on track soon.

I wanted to share my Digital Tuesday Challenge card using the Cool Dude image from our sponsor this week: Spesch Designer Stamps.

This week's challenge is all about the sketch. I love sketch challenges but in the end they are just guidelines because when all is said and done....my card usually comes out quite different. Not in a bad way....they are great inspiration.

Digital Tuesday Challenge

The image comes as a single image (one girl). One of the great things about digital images is that they can be manipulated to suit your needs. I wanted to create a card with sisters in mind so I did a little re-sizing and paired the images together. Here's a close-up:

Egg Hunt Release

Can you believe its time for another Pixie Dust Studio release? The collection is called Egg Hunt and it is an adorable set. Perfect for Easter.

I made about 300 mini cupcakes for my daughter's class. I cheated a bit and used box cake mixes and frosting in the can but still love how they turned out. I made three different kinds (strawberry, chocolate and yellow). Here's a picture of the strawberry mini's with sprinkles:

I thought it would be fun to make a cupcake topper so I printed out the Critter cupcakes image but only used the bunny portion of the image. I attached it to a lollipop stick and inserted it into the cupcake. How fun is that?
