One Cool Dude

Hello! Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I hope to get everything in working order and hope to be back on track soon.

I wanted to share my Digital Tuesday Challenge card using the Cool Dude image from our sponsor this week: Spesch Designer Stamps.

They have a great selection of digi's (love the digi's), clear stamps, and rubber stamps. Be sure to take a peek at what they have to offer. I'm sure there will be a collection or two that you will like.

This week's challenge is all about the sketch. I love sketch challenges but in the end they are just guidelines because when all is said and done....my card usually comes out quite different. Not in a bad way....they are great inspiration.

Here's the sketch:

Digital Tuesday Challenge

Happy Tuesday! This week's Digital Tuesday Challenge is called "Pretty Punches". So dig in your punch drawer and start punching. Just remember to use a digital element to your project in order to participate in the challenge.

This week's sponsor is Digital Delights. They have a wide selection of super cute digi's and if you win the challenge this week, you can win a couple of them. Be sure to stop by to see what they have to offer. You will be glad you did.

I used the Briley image from our sponsor this week. Isn't she adorable?

The image comes as a single image (one girl). One of the great things about digital images is that they can be manipulated to suit your needs. I wanted to create a card with sisters in mind so I did a little re-sizing and paired the images together. Here's a close-up:

Egg Hunt Release

Can you believe its time for another Pixie Dust Studio release? The collection is called Egg Hunt and it is an adorable set. Perfect for Easter.

I made about 300 mini cupcakes for my daughter's class. I cheated a bit and used box cake mixes and frosting in the can but still love how they turned out. I made three different kinds (strawberry, chocolate and yellow). Here's a picture of the strawberry mini's with sprinkles:

I thought it would be fun to make a cupcake topper so I printed out the Critter cupcakes image but only used the bunny portion of the image. I attached it to a lollipop stick and inserted it into the cupcake. How fun is that?

Here's a close-up of the image:

Don't forget that today is the beginning of the Pixie Dust Studio Challenge. It's called "Lace it up" so we are asking you to use lace on your project this week. Here's what comes in the Egg Hunt collection:

Digital Tuesday Challenge

Time for another Digital Tuesday Challenge. This week's theme is called "Easter Parade". It's up to you on just how you interpret the theme this week. It can be an Easter image, Easter Colors, Easter Paper, you decide. Just remember to use a digital element to your project.

Our sponsor this week is Pixie Dust Studio and they are giving away 2 free digi's to the winner. Lot's of fun images to choose from, including the one I used below. I thought it would be fun to make an Easter basket using a treat bag and Stampin Up's Top Note Die. It was super easy to make.

The bunny image is from Pixie Dust Studio and is called Some Bunny Loves You. The "Got eggs" sentiment is from the Easter Set 3 from The Cutting Cafe.
