December Calendar Page

I've had this calendar page done for awhile now. Not sure why I never posted it. The calendar is from the 2010 Calendar set from The Cutting Cafe. The cute little Santa image (digital, yeah!) is from Pixie Dust Studios. I found this cool designer paper from the LSS. I hope you have a Happy New Year!

Time for another Digital Tuesday Challenge. This time we are asking you to think winter and use some Dazzling Diamonds for snow. Our sponsor this week is Soft Pencil. Elizabeth has many cute digital winter scenes available. The winner of this week challenge will receive a $15 Gift Certificate to spend on Soft Pencil images. So head on over to the Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog and visit Mr. Linky. Now onto my project this week. January Calendar Page

Hello! I hope you had a great holiday. It went by so so fast. I'm still trying to play catch up here. I thought I'd share my January calendar page using the 2010 calendar set and Christmas All Around sets from The Cutting Cafe. The set is called. I also thought I'd show you this adorable snowman called Winter Time Chores from Pixie Dust Studios. I am really hoping to start my Christmas cards and projects early next year so I'll be posting a handful of winter themed projects throughout the year....that is if all goes well.

Joy

I hope you are ready for Christmas or pretty close to it. I can't believe how fast the year has gone. Time seems to go by much slower as a child. I thought I'd share a Christmas tag I made recently. The Joy image can be found at KLM Digital Designs. I didn't get around to making all of my Christmas tags this year but hope to have them made next year. Of course that's my plan every year *LOL*

Fight like a girl

Here's a card I made just because I thought the image was so cute and because I had to use pink *LOL* Also because all the proceeds will be donated will be donated to Breast Cancer Research. The image is from Whimsie Doodles stamps and comes in a set with a Fight Like a Girl sentiment (which I still need to add), a colored version of the girl, an inline image of the girl and an inline image of her head piece. I ended up using pieces of the pre-colored and only colored her face, arms and jeans with my Copics.

Christmas Ornament

I found these great snowflake ornaments at Kohl's the other day. Rather than printing a picture for the center I chose an image from the All About Christmas set from The Cutting Cafe. I just sized the image to 1.5 inches and used my Paper Shapers circle punch to cut out the image. All I need to do now is choose two more images for the other ones that came in the set so I can hang them on the tree.

Adore

Are you getting a little bogged down with Christmas projects? I know I am. I'm not one to mass produce cards so each year at this time my Mojo (what little I had) tends to disappear on me. Luckily Pixie Dust Studios has come out with some cute Valentine's Day images from the Love Letter Collection. Nothing perks me up more than the excuse to use more pink and red. I decided at the last minute that I was going to make a 6 X 6 calendar for my desk this year. I only have 3 months done so far but plan on chiping away at it month after month. I paired up my Pixie image with the 2010 Calendar set from The Cutting Cafe. Its as simple as printing, cutting and pasting. I can easily adjust the size of the calendar to fit my needs. No complaints there.

Now for our challenge this week... "Happy Birthday!" Make a BIRTHDAY something! You may use any company image as long as it's digital!

We have a wonderful new sponsor this week,
Ildi Co! Their images are just delightful. For my card this week I used the Happy Birthday Circle Set from The Cutting Cafe and a sentiment from Bethany's Digi Word Art. I kept this one simple

Love Letters Sneak Peek

It's almost time for another fun release from Pixie Dust Studios. Here's my first sneak peek of the Love Letters collection to be released on December 15th. There are some adorable images to choose from. Christmas will be here soon so it's time to move to another holiday. I don't make many New Year's cards so for me it's time for the love holiday. I don't send out that many Valentines Day cards but I do enjoy making them. Maybe its the pink and red combo that get's me going. I'm sure you'll be seeing more and more of them in the upcoming weeks. Today's image is called Pixie Dust Love Letter.

Our sponsor this week is Mo of Mo's Digital Pencil who is offering the winner 3 of her images. Pixie Dust - Sneak Peek

I thought I'd share a little sneak peek of one of the many Pixie Dust Studio images that will be available on December 2nd. They are adorable. This one is called Princess and Peek a Boo. I also thought it would be fun to crop the image for the sneak peek instead of cropping a card. The sentiment is from Bethany's Digi Word Art. She has lots and lots of sentiments to choose from. Be sure to check out tomorrow's post for the Digital Tuesday Challenge card especially if you like images from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Now that its nearly over its time to get back on track and start posting some of the projects I've made recently. Here's another card I made using Summer Day Emma from Whimsy Stamps. Its such a fun image. My guest spot for Whimsy is coming to an end. It sure went by fast. I still have a handful of projects to share with you and will be sure to post them here and there over the next few weeks.

Pick of the Litter

A little Whimsy goes a long way. For this card I used the Whimsy Dog and Sign along with the Whimsy Circle Postmark Sentiments. I wanted to do something different so I stamped the sentiments on white and really rust cardstock and layered them. That way I was able to create an interesting background for my card. Although my guest design team spot is coming to an end I do have a couple more projects to share over the next few weeks. I've been having a lot of fun with these wonderful stamps and can you believe that they aren't even digital?

if you don't have a blog, you can upload to an online gallery using keyword DTC34. I used the Bear holding sign image from this week's sponsor.
