I went to a football game today and for some reason that made me pull out my baseball stamps. I guess its because I don't own many sports type stamps. Today's card image is from Stampendous - Chantigo Play ball. I also used Hanna Stamps -baseball Hanna to make the baseball mitt background. I rarely use black and white type images but thought if I colored the mitts it would be too much brown and I prefer the contrast.
Stamps: Stampendous - Chantigo Play Ball, Hanna Stamps - Baseball Hanna Paper: Real Red, Black, White, Adornit DP (sentiment and baseball image) Ink: Stazon Black Accessories: Copics, Red and Black Grosgrain Ribbon, 1 inch circle punch, Dimensionals
I'm not sure what I'd do without the Wish Rak group on Splitcoaststampers. I've been very fortunate to receive various stamp images especially with my ever shrinking budget. Of course the down side to joining the group has been finding out about all the great stamp companies out there. I was limited to my LSS and SU but now have found myself seeking out new companies and new products. My wish list is a mile long. I'm finding my wish list to be less than manageable and with as many new releases of stamps each month I may never catch up. It sure is fun using a new stamp image. This image is from Sarah Kay and is one of many stamps on my wish list.
Stamps: Sarah Kay Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Brilliant Blue, Real Red, White, Misc. DP Accessories: Copics, 5/8 inch Red Ribbon, Cuttlebug EF
I can't tell you just how much I am enjoying this Dress up Lily set. I'm sure after a few more days you will start to realize that I can't seem to get enough of it. I still have lots of ideas floating around that I am looking forward to trying. I think Lily will make great little girl birthday cards. This card was made with paper scraps (yep I'm a saver) and embellishments that I've had for so long that I can't begin to tell you what company they came from.
Stamps: Pink Cat Studio - Dress up Lily Paper: Real Red, Blue Bayou, Gable Green, White Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black Accessories: Copics, White Gel Pen, Misc. Embellisments, 5/8 inch Red Ribbon
Here's another card using some of the accessories such as angel wings and a wand:

I have to say that I am really excited about this stamp set. It's called Dress up Lily and is made by Pink Cat Studio. Lily is adorable and comes with so many accessories. There is also a boy version to the stamp set "Dress up Billy" that I don't have yet but is on my ever growing wish list. And if that is not enough there are other Lily and Billy sets and accessory sets. The possibilities are endless. For my first Pink Cat Studio card I put the focus on Lily but plan to make many more cards using some of the fun accessories like angel wings, wands, etc. Fun times ahead.

Here are the cards that I made for the Unity card swap I participated in. Nothing like waiting until the last minute to make them. I was up until the wee hours of the morning trying to come up with something. I have to say that although I felt rushed I do like how they turned out.

I knew it wouldn't take me long to follow the moose tracks and to create another card using Hanna Stamps. I really love coloring Hula Sophie as much as I do Riley. I found this Creative Imaginations patterned paper and saw the possibilities right away. I hope you are starting to enjoy the moose as much as I am.
Stamps: Hanna Stamps- Hula Sophie, A Muse sentiment Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, Creative Imaginations DP Ink: Brilliance Copic Black Accessories: Copics, SU Striped Ribbon, Dimensionals
This stamp set goes way back 2003. Its a long retired Stampin Up set that was part of the definitely decorative collection. I don't recall the name as its a set that I do not own. A friend of mine stamped the images for me so all I had to do was assemble. Needless to say it was a very quick and easy card to do. I was limited on supplies at the time so I kept it very simple and plan on building its complexity later today *fingers crossed*

Here's my favorite little monkey Chantigo playing golf. I found this great patterned paper from Adornit. I love the bright and cheery colors. The golf ball was part of the pattern on the paper. I just cut it out using my large SU circle punch.
Stamps: Stampendous- chantigo collection Paper: Green Galore, White, Tempting Turquoise, Adornit DP Accessories: Copics, Circle Punch, Dimensionals
OK I decided to add a sentiment to the blue Chantigo Bouquet card that I made last week. I also decided to make the same card with pink paper rather than blue. Here it is:

I took some time to make cards today. Here's the first two that I made. This set is called Blossoms Abound and recently retired from Stampin up. Yep I kind of wish I would have purchased this one.
Stamps: Blossoms Abound Paper: Pretty in Pink, Old Olive, Regal Rose Ink: Old Olive, Mellow Moss, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose Accessories: 5/8 inch ribbon, silver brads, dimensionals
Here's a quick card with my favorite monkey Chantigo. I'm still looking for the right sentiment to pair it with. I may have to be creative and print one out on the computer.
I guess I am still in the Halloween mood. I was originally planning on making a Halloween card based on a Hanna Stamps sketch challenge and ended up doing something completely different. I guess either way the challenge helped me stamp. This is one of the new halloween Rileys. Isn't he adorable?
I know its a little early for Halloween type projects but since the candy has already hit the stores I thought why not. Besides Halloween is my favorite holiday. The image is from Stampendous and is part of the Fluffles collection. You should see the new stamps they just released. They will definitely put you in the mood for Halloween and Christmas.
Stamps: Stampendous Paper: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Karen Foster DP Accessories: Copics, Misc. Ribbon, Flower and Black Button
I just found out about some great blog candy and had to share. Congrats to you Katharina for celebrating 100,000 hits. Wow! I can't even imagine. Check this out:
In honor of the upcoming first day of school I decided to pull out a cute Stamping Bella image. I colored it with my copics. Aren't those little girls adorable?
Stamps: Stamping Bella Paper: Pretty in Pink, Tempting Turquoise, Misc. SU dp Accessories: SU Flirty Ribbon, Dimensionals
I was in a Bella mood. This cute little Bella is called soccermomabella. Doesn't she make you want to sign up kids for soccer? Now onto the card. I wanted to use up a few paper scraps and this is what I came up with. I didn't have the right copic colors so I dusted off my Prismacolor pencils for this one. I also wanted to have more dimension so I cut out the soccer ball and sports bag and layered them with dimensionals. The grass scene sounded like a good idea at the time. Since I don't own the stamp I was limited to test runs so what you see is what you get.
Paper: Bashful Blue, Barely Banana, White, Wild Wasabi DP, Martha Stewart DP Ink: Stazon Black Accessories: Prismacolor pencils, gamsol, Copics, SU build a brad, Dimensionals, Martha Stewart bow.
I finally have a card to share. Its my 5 minute or less card. Here's the secret: The two step stamping was done for me by a fellow Wish-Raker (thanks kchase). All I had to do was trim the image, add a double mat and add some ribbon. It can't get any easier than that.
The image is from Stampin Up and is recently retired. I believe I have found my the stamp set that I wish I had purchased. I usually have one of those per year. I still to this day regret not getting Fishy Friends when that was available.
Stamps: Stampin Up -Blossoms Abound Paper: Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Mellow Moss Ink: Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Mellow Moss, Old Olive Accessories: SU 5/8 inch grosgrain ribbon
In lieu of a card that I have made I thought I would share a card that I recently received in the mail from a fellow Wish Raker (Thanks MaddiesMom). The image is from Stamping Bella and is called Best Friends Forevah. What an adorable card and in colors that I love.
I had to include a close view of how Mary used the dew drop. What a cute little embellishment and a great idea pairing it with the flowers like that.
I must admit that I have been low on stamping time lately and losing my mojo hasn't helped. I am currently working on my swap card design. I won't be able to post it until all of the participants have seen them. More fun that way. I do plan on setting some time aside to work on them as well as some new cards tomorrow night. I treated myself to some new copics since they were 30% off (Hobby Lobby) and I hope they bring well needed inspiration.
As for stamps, you may have noticed that Halloween stamp sets are being released. I love halloween and can't wait to get my hands on some new stamps. So far I have seen a couple of great sets from MFT (My Favorite Things) so you may want to check those out. There is also some fun paper and ribbon there. I'm afraid to find out what else they have. I have zero control.
