Penguin Christmas

Just thought I'd post a card that I made a long time ago that I don't believe I posted yet. The image is from Shirleys 2 Girls and is called Penguin with Sign SG H21. I think he's adorable and the great thing is that he's a breeze to color.

Halloween with S2G

I thought I'd share my favorite Halloween card using images from Shirleys 2 Girls and to let you know that there is still time to order. For my card I used SG 907 Spooky House and Spookies 1 SG 901. I'm not sure what I'll do when I no longer need to make Halloween cards. I guess move onto Christmas.

Eat, Drink and Be Scary 2

I decided to take a card that I posted earlier this week and to tweak it. Usually I do this before posting it but lets just say I was inspired. The fun little spider image is from shirleys 2 girls and is called Spookies 1 SG 901. The star shape and the Eat, Drink and Be Scary Label are both from The Cutting Cafe. Besides that the weather here is not so nice so I wasn't able to take pictures of the new cards I made. Honestly I love the new look, don't you?

Boo! Its Twisted Thursday

Happy Thursday!! First let me say that you don't want to miss out on this week's Shirleys 2 Girls Twisted Thursday Challenge. We have one awesome sketch for you and a fun twist this week. Ready for the twist? You have to use Boo on your card. I sure hope you join in this week. I'd love to see what you come up with...so I challenge you to inspire me!!

Today's card was one that fortunately came together before my very eyes. I had limited time and a table full of scraps and images prepared ahead of time. I even had the circles made. Here are the deets on my card. I used two of my favorite halloween images from S2G. The first one is SG 907 Spooky House. Somehow it says halloween to me. I paired it up with the Spookies 1 SG 901 image. You can't go wrong with either one if you ask me. Oh yeah, I also used some scraps of digi paper from S2G called Bats and Cats. To join in on the fun all you have to do is create a card using this week's sketch (don't forget the twist!), and then head on over to the challenge blog and add the direct link to your project on Mr. Linky. Gallery submissions should have the keyword S2GSC26.

Ghoul Friends - S2GSC24

'Shirley's 2 Girls' Twisted Thursday is back!! We enjoyed last week's little Halloween blog hop with you all, but now it's back to Twisted Thursday business!!

Look at this great sketch! The twist this week is to use - PURPLE AND ORANGE as your color scheme. The image I got to play with is called Ghoul Friends (SG 902). It can be used in a spooky or cute way. I love that. To join in on the fun all you have to do is create a card using this week's sketch (don't forget the twist!), and then click on the blinkie below - that'll take you right to Mr. Linky where you need to upload a link to your project. You don't have to use a S2G image but I'd love it if you did. There are some cute digi's there too and you know how much I love DIGI.

Project 1: At the last minute I decided to whip up one more little project using 901 Spookies images.

Project 2 with Photo Frame: The project is actually framed but was hard to see in the picture so I included one with a faux frame above so you could see more of the project.

Twisted Thursday

I can't believe its Thursday already. Where has all my time gone this week? This week's Twist in addition to the sketch is to Paint the Town red -use red as your primary color. Unfortunately you'll have to wait a bit for mine to be posted. I have a 3 year old with a fever at home this week, in addition to lots of other not so fun things but I hope to whip up a card up in a Jiff later today if possible.

Boo!

I have to admit that Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday. I love all things spooky and the idea of individually wrapped candies, well you can't go wrong there either. Regina recently shared a halloween set with the DT that she made awhile back. There are lots of new ones at the Cafe site as well. This little number is from the 13 piece Halloween set. It has shaped cards, titles, you name it. When I saw it I just had to use the little Boo sign with the pumpkins. I also paired it up with some Halloween digi paper (the black orange and white one on the bottom of the card) from Shirleys 2 Girls that will be released soon. Sneak peeks will be featured during Septembers Twisted Thursdays. I added little google eyes to it but they were a little camera shy so you can't see them very well.

It's Twisted Thursday!

Twisted Thursday is back! The sisters from Shirleys 2 Girls had a blast at CHA and are now back and ready for business. This week's TWIST is to add polka dots. Easy peasy, right? I used the daffodil digital image DG18 from S2G and paired it up with a sentiment from BFF Mazie SG 701. Yep I'm a digi gal. Here are some of the benefits of going digital: you can get them quick, no shipping and handling charges, they can be re-sized and printed out as a single image or multiple, they can be flipped, and the list goes on.

I had to come up with something quick since I was down to the wire with this challenge. I sure hope you like it. To enter is to create a card using this week's sketch and twist and add the link to Mr. Linky on the S2G Challenge Blog by next Wednesday at midnight. The winner will be announced on Friday. Peace, Love and Rock & Roll

S2G is off to CHA! AND we have some exciting things to show you! S2G introduces our 'quirky little teenage girl', MAZIE...and her adventures with her furry side-kick, McDuff.

The DT will share what is being 'debuted' at CHA! Join us as we see MAZIE cruising around town in her 'love bug' with McDuff...on the beach daydreaming about Peace...rocking out to her ipod...just celebrating herself as she skateboards...& meditating about Love...Peace...& Rock & Roll.Come take the tour of our 'Ladies with Attitude' DTand see all the 'groovy' projects they have been working on.

The fun starts tomorrow and will continue all week long.
