Peek -a- Boo

For the Some Odd Girl Giveaway click HERE.

I found this cute little image at Bugaboo Stamps. It is still the freebie of the week and will be there until Friday so you better hurry and get it before its gone. Rather than making a birthday card I thought I'd change it up a bit and ended up making a baby card. Especially since I've been really wanting to use the All About Babies set from The Cutting Cafe. I thought it would be fun to use one of the tags I made with the All Occassion Tag set also from The Cutting Cafe. Since its an easel card it folds so it can be easily mailed and sized for a standard envelope. I just can't get enough of the easel cards.

Stamps: Bugaboo, The Cutting Cafe -All Occassion Tags, All About Babies
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, White, American Crafts, Misc. Paper Scraps
Accessories: Copics, Nestabilities, SU Small and Large Tag Punch, Dimensionals, American Crafts Ribbon, Silver Brad, SU Lattice Die, SU Pink Satin Ribbon, SU Scallop Punch, Pearl Accents

A Little Giveaway

There are some fun things happening at Some Odd Girl. A new challenge blog with fabulous Stash and Style challenges. Adorable digital images like the one seen below and a freebie each month at the Some Odd Girl site. Since my favorite card fold these days is the Easel card I just had to make another one. I actually made two but you'll have to wait and see the other one. The image is called Lounging Kaylee and she is one of my favorites.

Want to win this adorable image? All you need to do is visit the Some Odd Girl site. Then just leave a comment on this post letting me know which digi category is your favorite. There are 6 different ones to choose from. I'll randomly choose a winner on Monday, April 5th. How simple is that?

Rainbow Challenge!

For for the Fred She Said blog hop click HERE.

It's challenge time! Today, the Odd Girls will be bringing you alternating "Stash and Style" challenges every other Thursday, with lots of yummy projects from our Odd Girls to inspire you! To participate in our challenges, you do not have to use Some Odd Girl images on your projects, but bonus entries will be given to those who do, and there's always a FREEBIE available if you want to 'try before you buy'. (Go ahead, adopt Spike - he plays well with others, despite his intimidating glare!) We do, however, want to see some kind of STAMPING (rubber/acrylic or digital) on your fabulous creations. So are you ready to play?!

Our VERY FIRST CHALLENGE is a STASH challenge. You'll need to turn to your stash to find what's needed to play along. We want to see you playing with the RAINBOW! Interpret that as you like.

I look the literal approach and use designer paper that just so happened to have a rainbow on it. How lucky was that? I think it looks quite nice paired up with the Yay Kaylee image from Some Odd Girl, don't you? If you aren't familiar with Some Odd Girl yet you are in for a treat. There are several new images and many more coming. Head on over to check it out and if you can squeeze in the challenge, even better.

Victoria Case

Time to stop hoarding those rub-ons and to use some of that ribbon you've been collecting! And time for a Scrapettes Challenge sponsored by The Town Scrapper. If you haven't already figured it out, this week's challenge is called Ribbons and Rub-ons. So lets bust out those supplies and get crafting, I'd love to see what you come up with this week. I have a small stash of rub-ons (that I rarely use) so I need ideas *LOL* For my card I used a Wedding Kit from KI Memories. It was on clearance and a deal at $2.18. It came with designer paper, stickers and rub-ons. Can't beat that, can you? If you are needing some new rubber be sure to check out Phebe's store for some adorable and exclusive Victoria Case designs as well as many other things for all your crafting needs.

Feelin' Lucky?

You can find the Digital Two for Tuesday Vintage cards click here.

This week's Digital Tuesday Challenge is to think green. With spring coming up and St. Patricks Day just around the corner this will be a piece of cake, right? I have to admit that I don't normally make St. Patricks Day cards but when I saw all the wonderful digi's I could play with I just had to take the plunge and go all out. This weeks sponsor is The Stamping Boutique and they are giving away a set of rubber stamps. They have adorable designs for cardmaking and scrapbooking which I need to do more of. The requirement is to use at least one digital image for your project. I used several so I thought I'd list them below with the links in case you were interested in checking them out. The girl image is from The Stamping Boutique and is called Irish Audrey. The remaining images are from The Cutting Cafe and include the following printable images: Lucky Background, Happy St. Patricks Day Huge Circle Word, 4 Leaf Clover Background, and St Patricks Day. That's 5 digi's on one card. I told you I went all out.

Stamps: The Stamping Boutique, The Cutting Cafe
Paper: Garden Green, Barely Banana, White, Basic Grey DP
Accessories: Copics, White Gel Pen, Nestabilities, Green Gemstones, Dimensionals, American Crafts Ribbon, Curvy Label Punch

To my beautiful mother

I am still having fun with last month's freebie from Some Odd Girl. I just love the Kaylee collection and don't worry I've been playing with some of the new images as well so you'll see some new ones very soon. I added a little paper piecing for her dress. I wish you could see all the details of the dp I used for it. It really brings out the yellow in the background paper. I thought it would be fun to make the image more of a focal point so I added a circle sentiment from The Cutting Cafe (All about mom set). Since both the image and sentiment are digital I created one single image in Photoshop and printed it in one swoop. I was able to re-size them both to fit my needs. Can't complain about that.

Stamps: Some Odd Girl - Kaylee, The Cutting Cafe - All about mom
Paper: Real Red, White, Best Creations DP, Amercian Crafts DP
Accessories: Copics, White Gel Pen, Nestabilities, Misc. ribbon, Dimensionals, Pearl Accents

For my Hunny Bunny!

This week's Digital Tuesday Challenge is sponsored by Ellie at Digital Stamp Oasis. She is offering free digi's to the winner this week. There are 3 new images, one of which is featured below. The challenge this week is to add piercing to your card so grab your piercing tool and template and start poking that paper. I know you can do it. Be sure to check out the DTC blog to see what the other DT members came up with. Lots of critter cards this week. That is also where you will find Mr. Linky. I sure hope you play along this week. I'd love to see how creative your piercing can be. Also that cute little sentiment is just one of many in the printable set called Happy Easter- Inside and Outside Greetings from The Cutting Cafe. There are over 20 sentiments to choose from in the set and they are re-sizeable to suit your needs.

Stamps: Digital Stamp Oasis, The Cutting Cafe - Happy Easter Inside and Outside Greetings
Paper: Groovy Guava, Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango, White, SU Afternoon Tea
Accessories: Copics, SU Oval and Scallop Oval Punch, SU Striped Ribbon, Paper Piercing Tool, Spellbinders, Dimensionals, Michaels Polka Dot Ribbon

Dancing Daisy

I am trying to use circles more and I am trying to incorporate more spring like colors. Since the card design is on the simple side I decided to add some dry embossing to give it a more textured look. I also paper pierced around the flower petals for a little extra something. The daisy image is from the Dancing Daisies digital set from Fred She Said. What I love about this image is that it can be used for several occassions such as Birthday, Get Well, Thinking of you, Just a note, etc. That and the fact that it can be easily re-sized and printed. This is especially important if you are making several of the same or similar cards. Be sure to stop by the FSS blog for some inspiration and for some great freebies.

Stamps: Fred She Siad - Dancing Daisies, Bethany's Elegant Word Art - Happy Sentiment
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Soft Sky, White, My Minds Eye
Accessories: Copics, Paper Piercer, SU Oval and Scallop Oval Punch, American Crafts Ribbon, SU Rose Ribbon, CB Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

Tea Anyone?

The Pixie Challenge this week is to create a 3-D project. The Down the Rabbit Hole collection, newly released, is ready for coloring and trust me these images can handle the bold and bright. Since they are digital images, size doesn't matter *LOL* because you can simply re-size them to fit your needs. The first project is a tin filled with tea. How fun would it be to have tea with the Mad Hatter?

And if tea wasn't enough how about some Mad Hatter snacks?

If you look closely you'll see one of the still pictures from the Alice in Wonderland movie. I printed it from the official Alice in Wonderland site. There are some great pictures to see there. Be sure to check out the Pixie Dust Studio Challenge Blog for some crafty inspiration. Hope you join us this week.

Lastly, if you like making or using handmade tags be sure to check out yesterday's post HERE or scroll down below.

Oh Alice Sketch Challenge

I've discovered a fun challenge blog. Its called Oh Alice...a curious little CHALLENGE blog where nothing is as it seems. They have a fun sketch this week and guess who the sponsor of the challenge is? Pixie Dust Studio. The random challenge winner will get to choose 3 images of their choice from PDS. So of course I had to play along and support Kathy from Pixie Dust Studio. Deppish image seen below is one of the new release images from the Down the Rabbit Hole collection and is my excuse to go bold and bright. The Oh Alice DT projects are spectacular so be sure to take a look.

Here's the fabulous sketch:

Down the Rabbit Hole- NEW RELEASE

I hope you are ready for an amazing new release of digi's. Pixie Dust Studio would like to announce the newest release of images. This collection is called Down the Rabbit Hole and I think its fresh and funky. There are so many ways to use these images and the bolder the better. I decided to go a bit dramatic with Alice so I used a classic color combo that would make Alice stand out in a crowd. I have to say that I am having lots of fun with these images and you'll be seeing more projects soon. My favorite is the Depp inspired image. What can I say I'm a big fan. Be sure to check out the Pixie Dust Studio blog and other DT members fantastic creations. You will not be disappointed.
