Digital Tuesday Challenge

This week's Digital Tuesday Challenge is to use a non-craft item on your project and a digital image of course.

Doodle Pantry is sponsoring this challenge and they are offering a $10 gift certificate to their store as a prize this week. They have lots of images to choose from and since they are digital images you'll be able to grab a few if you do win this week's challenge. For my project this week I used Doodle Pantry's Agapanthus flower set. Be sure to check out what they have to offer. There are also some cute freebies on the site as well.

My non-craft item for the challenge is the brown textured fabric. It's a remnant from my Ikea curtain panel. It's good to finally put a small portion of it to good use.

I ended up making four cards using the set.

Don't forget to head on over to the Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog for some fun Design Team inspiration and for Mr. Linky.

Halloween Bride

Here's a halloween card I made awhile ago. It was meant to be for last week's Digital Tuesday Color Challenge but I ended up making something a bit different. The image is from The Greeting Farm. I just had to have it *LOL* It's what I call a classic digi image. It will never go out of style. I love that.

Emma the Cat

I love this bright and super glittery paper but found it too hard to cover it up. What's a girl to do? Keep it simple of course. The image I used is from Fred She Said and it is called Emma the cat, hence the title. She is adorable and comes pre-colored and in pure digi form. There are even colored papers that work so well with her. As you can see I'm trying to post all my Halloween projects before the big night. And don't forget the digi of the week sale is going on. This week you can grab the Sunflowers and Thankfulness image for 40% off. Check out the what Tracey M. has done with it HERE.

Digital Tuesday Challenge

It's time for another Digital Tuesday Challenge. Since Halloween is coming up we'd like you to make a Halloween themed project using the colors:

Purple, Black and Yellow

This week's sponsor is Black Leaf Studio They also let the Design Team use this fun Halloween Set. I chose the Halloween hat. I re-sized the image to 5.5 inches in height and turned it into a fun little candy box. I hope you play along this week. Be sure to check out the Digital Tuesday Challenge Blog to see some fun inspiration and to see Mr. Linky. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Milk Chocolate Pumpkins

I needed an excuse to buy Milk Chocolate Pumpkins so I decided to make a little treat box. I used one of the new images from Pixie Dust Studio - The Leaves Collection. There are currently 4 images in the set and each one is adorable. I think this one is my favorite so far. I think it will look great on a card or even a fall scrapbook page. Head on over to the PDS blog to see more inspiration and to see the entire collection.

Spooky Halloween

I know you are thinking: Halloween again? Don't fret, the month will soon be over and you'll then see Xmas and Winter Cards...I hope. This card is all about the paper- no stamping, no fuss. I even added 13 metallic pearls but who's counting? All the papers and ribbon are from Stampin Up.

Digital Tuesday Challenge

Happy Tuesday!! As usual, I'm glad Monday has come and gone. Now that its Tuesday its time for the next challenge. This week's theme is:

Sew Special - Use sewing ... real or faux

This week's sponsor is Designed 2 Delight. Another great place for your digi needs. Not only were they generous enough to let the DT choose an image but they are also offering a $10 gift certificate to their store for this week's prize. What a great way to snag some fun digi's. I used the Present image. It's definitely an image that has multiple uses.

The usual rules apply, you must use a digi and your project must be new. Be sure to check out what the DT has come up this week using the Designed 2 Delight images.

Monday Showcase

Time for another Monday Showcase at the TownScrapper. Here's a quick and easy project that was colored and put together in less than 10 minutes. I used a C.C. Designs image called Rosalie.

For all your papercrafting needs contact Phebe by email at info@townscrapper.com or by phone at 519-882-0623. She has a great variety of things available and does carry several C.C. Designs stamps. Be sure to check out the other Showcase projects today at the TownScrapper.

Hugs and Kisses

Photography can make or break a project debut. I am definitely lacking in equipment and knowledge (especially when it comes to scrapbook pages) so I have recruited a friend who has both. I can manage when it comes to smaller projects like cards or tags but the rest fall flat.

Here are a couple of the sample photos he has taken so far. It is one of my older layouts that he used to test the waters. As you can see I really need to save up for a new camera. A photography class wouldn't hurt either. Thanks Tommy!

The hugs and kisses sentiment is called Valentine Big Stuff and is available from The Cutting Cafe.

Frankie Costume

I made this one for the Monthly Karber Challenge. The theme is: "Fantasy": Fairies, Vampires, Halloween Characters, Princesses, etc. I used my new Karber image called Frankie Costume Jude. He's definitely on the cute side as far as images go. I paired him up with some Spooky papers, googlie eyes and ribbon. I also added a little bit of Tangerine Tango cardstock to put more focus on the image. I can almost hear him say "Trick or Treat."

Stamps: Karber Digital Images: Frankie Costume Jude
Paper: Basic Gray, Tango Tangerine, Stampin Up DP, Misc. DP
Accessories: Copics, Nestabilities, Googlie Eyes, Dimensionals, SU Striped Ribbon

Pretty in Pink

I thought I'd change the mood to something other than Halloween. What better way than to go all Pink on you. This cute little image is from Pixie Dust Studios and can be found in the Goodies Collection HERE. She is called Baker Fairy hence the cupcake designer paper. It's a fun collection of images. Stay tuned for the upcoming release called Leaves. It's sure to be a Fall Favorite.

Happy Halloween

Click HERE for the Fred She Said Blog Hop.

Time for another TownScrapper Challenge and this time we are asking you to create a new Halloween project. As you can see I am so into Halloween. I can't get enough of it. For my project I used the Jack O Lanterns image from The TownScrapper. I paired them up with some fun designer papers. I also ran the cardstock through the Cuttlebug to give it a little more umph!

From now until Thursday, October 7th at 9 p.m., create an original Halloween design and upload it to the InLinkz at the TownScrapper Challenge Blog for your chance to win a Victoria Case Magical Sophie (image shown below).
