The Townscrapper's Blog Hop

If you are looking for the Fred She Said Blog Hop click here.

Welcome to The Townscrapper's BLOG HOP. We are going to showcase new and exclusive Victoria Case images. The HOP will run for 2 weeks and each week will feature the wonderful inspiring creations of half of the Scrapettes on The Townscrapper Design Team.

You will notice a recurring theme during the HOP because we've decided to combine the BLOG HOP with our weekly challenge so you can double your chances to win. We'd love for you to create something with a GIRLIE Theme. You have until midnight EST on Saturday, April 24, to link your creations on The Townscrapper Blog. Of course one random lucky challenge participant will win a Victoria Case image of their choice along with a some HOP winners for Week 1 of our HOP. Week 1 challenge and BLOG HOP winners will be announced on Monday, April 26.

All the newly released images are in stock and available for purchase from Phebe. Phebe can be reached by phone at 519-882-0623 or via email at info@townscrapper.com. If you can't make it to the store in Petrolia, Ontario (Canada), remember that Phebe also ships worldwide.

Here's the list of hoppers to visit this first BLOG HOP week and be sure to leave a comment on each blog when you are hopping because some lucky random crafters will win Victoria Case rubber stamps. Plus there will be one grand prize winner at the end of the 2-week HOP but we're going to keep you in suspense and show you the grand prize next week ~ hehehe. So start hopping and have a great time.

I didn't have to make a card this week but decided to post one anyway. I used one of the exclusive Victoria Case images available at the TownScrapper.

Fred She Said Blog Hop

If you are looking for today's Pixie Dust Studio digital image freebie click HERE!

Welcome to our FOURTH "FRED SHE SAID" blog hop!!! If you just happened to drop by my blog and you are not aware of this wonderful event taking place, please go back to the "FRED SHE SAID" blog here and start your hop!

Along the way, please leave a comment on the blogs, follow the instructions at the end of the blog hop, at the Challenge blog, to make your entry and your name will go in for a drawing for a $20 Gift Certificate for the Fred She Said Store!

Here's the first part of my "Fred She Said" creation:

I started out with the Emma the Mermaid Coloured Set which came with a pre-coloured underwater background and several accessories. I re-sized my background to 6 inches in width and to make things really simple I resized the coloured sheet (included in the set) also to 6 inches so that all the images were resized at the same time. Then all I had to do was cut out the images and prep them for the background. My girls will definitely have fun creating their own scenes.

Here's what the background scene looks like when the accessories are added. If you want to really get more bang for your buck you can apply 2 way glue to the back of the accessory images or use removable tape so the images can be removed and applied again and again.

Here is a list of the blog hoppers in case you lose your way:

Pass the Peas and DT call

It's time for another great Pixie Dust Studio release and challenge. This week's challenge is to use the color GREEN as the MAIN color. Easy Peasy *LOL* Who knew peas could be so much fun. This month's release can be used several ways. The obvious choice is for baby cards but would be adorable for scrapbooking those fond memories of our sweet babies eating their veggies, messy faces and all. Don't forget that if you are interested in becoming a Pixie you have until April 30th to get your application in. You can find all the deets HERE and grab the freebie for today only!

Happy Birthday

Hi and welcome to another Digital Tuesday Challenge! This week's Challenge is 'Paper Piecing with Digitals!' Paper Piecing is a great way to add interest to your card and an even better way to use up your designer paper scraps and/or cardstock. Rather than coloring her hair with Copics I decided to use a scrap piece of Barely Banana cardstock. After I cut out the hair piece I ran it through my Cuttlebug to give it a little texture. I used the Birthday Girl set designed by Chi Chi Memories and My Grafico.

Our sponsor this week is the fabulous
My Grafico and they are giving away a free digi set AND 30% off any store purchase to one lucky randomly chosen winner! So you'll really want to play along this week for a chance to win this great prize! So head on over to the Challenge Blog for inspiration and to visit Mr. Linky. I sure hope you can play along this week.

Its called Spring Giraffe. Click here to view the April Collection. If you are not familiar with CGD and would like to see what they have to offer here's the key. Now onto my card. I used several items from IHP including Sassafras Lass designer paper, Blue Satin Ribbon, Felt Flowers and a Lemonade Glazed Brad. If you haven't visited IHP in awhile there are lots and lots of new items to choose from including Copic markers and every color refill and the best thing is that you can find it all in one place. Charmed

This week's fun and fabulous challenge at The Town Scrapper is to use a charm on your card. You can make your own, purchase one or simply use one you have laying around. Either way it is guaranteed to add a little something to your project. This week I decided to use two new Victoria Case images which are exclusive rubber stamps for The Town Scrapper. Meet Zeke and Lola. Since I love to combine images to make a new one I decided to put them together. I hope you are able to play along this week. I'd love to see what you can do with a charm and am always looking for new ideas.
